Dean England, formerly company president, will now hold the title of co-chairman of the company, which was No. 16 in JOC’s Top 50 Trucking Companies rankings for 2012. Chad England, formerly chief operating officer, will assume the title and responsibility of CEO. Josh England, CFO, will take on the added title and duties of president.
“While Wayne Cederholm’s passing was certainly unexpected, the company has always had in place a strong plan for leadership continuity,” Dan England said in a written statement.
Dean England has worked at every level of the company, including as a freight handler, truck washer, maintenance manager, terminal manager, operations manager, director of operations, chief operating officer, CEO and president.
Chad England has been involved in the family business since the age of 14, working in nearly every department, including as driving manager; director of operations management; vice president of opportunity leasing; vice president of recruiting, training and safe driving; president of England North America; and chief operating officer.
Josh England was named CFO of the transportation company in January 2013. Previously, he was president of England Logistics, a subsidiary of C.R. England. He has also served as vice president of independent contractor division, controller of the North American division and manager of freight profitability for C.R. England.
