STANFORD TO SPEAK AT MEETING

U.S. Army Major General John H. Stanford, commander, Military Traffic Management Command, will address the annual National Defense Transportation Association luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 25.

MTMC, headquartered in Washington, D.C., and staffed jointly by members of the different military branches, is responsible for the global transportation needs of the U.S. Armed Forces.Prior to assuming his post at MTMC, Maj. Gen. Stanford was deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Aviation Systems Command in St. Louis, Mo.

The NDTA luncheon will begin with cocktails at 11:45 a.m. at the Nieuw Amsterdam Ballroom of the Vista International Hotel at the World Trade Center. The luncheon will follow at 12:30 p.m.
