SOUTHWEST TO OFFER NEW NON-STOP ROUTE

Southwest Airlines Co. announced it will begin non-stop service between Indianapolis and New Orleans on June 4.

"Southwest is optimistic about the demand between these two cities, and we will be the only carrier offering non-stop service," said Don Valentine, vice president, sales and marketing. "This will also open up continuing service to close-in Chicago Midway Airport where Southwest is aggressively expanding."Southwest will offer one round trip a day between Indianapolis and New Orleans, and the highest unrestricted fare will be $159 one-way.
