Squires to succeed Moorman as NS chairman

Wick Moorman, who retired as Norfolk Southern Railway's chief executive in June, will formally step down from the executive chairman post on Oct. 1. President and CEO Jim Squires, deemed Moorman's successor in all other capacities, will become the railroad company’s chairman as well.
