Indonesia Port Operator Opens New Car Terminal

Indonesia’s state-owned port operator Pelindo II has opened a new car terminal in Sumatra.

The 6,560-square-foot facility at the river port of Boom Baru has capacity to receive up to 300 cars a day. Most of the units are expected to arrive on roll-on, roll-off vessels from the Port of Tanjung Priok in Java, the country’s largest international gateway.
