NEW ZEALAND OKS OPENING OF GOLD MINE

New Zealand's biggest gold mine, the Golden Cross, will be able to open next year, the High Court of Justice decided.

Located in Coromandel in North Island, the Golden Cross should produce 100,000 ounces of gold and 300,000 ounces of silver a year for at least eight years.Gold output should exceed $36 million each year, according to current international prices for the metal.
