Port of Seattle Approves Environmental Funds

The Port of Seattle Commission approved appropriations for environmental and congestion relief projects at the seaport and at Sea-Tac International Airport for next year.

The commission approved various environmental remediation projects, including cleanup of the Lower Duwamish Waterway superfund site at the seaport and groundwater remediation at the airport.

Congestion relief efforts include work on the South Park Bridge project and continued work on the FAST corridor rail project.
