India has received a credit from International Development Association (IDA) and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in various currencies toward cost of developing agricultural projects in Tamil Nadu. Directorate of Rural Development invites bids for supply of Mark III handpumps conforming to IS 13056/1991 or equivalent (quantity: 1,215 meters). S15 Construction of schools

Mozambique received a loan from OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) toward cost of new primary schools and intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under contract for construction of 12 new EP2 primary schools and 24 houses for teachers. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries under OFID Procurement Guidelines. GEPE, project implementation unit of Ministry of Education, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for construction of four new EP2 primary schools, with 10 classrooms each and two houses for teachers/school, in provinces of Gaza, Nampula and Zambezia respectively, in three lots. Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at address below for a non-refundable fee of US$150 or equivalent in freely convertible currency, for each set. Bidders who request bidding documents sent to them through international courier service must include an additional fee of $75. Deadline for purchasing tender documents is 8/7/95. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of $15,000/lot or equivalent in convertible currency. National bidders may provide an equivalent bid security in meticais. Bids must be delivered to GEPE on/before 10 a.m. local time 8/23/95. At that time they will be opened in presence of bidders who wish to attend.
