MOBIL TO SUPPLY LUBES

TO SEALIFT COMMANDFAIRFAX, Va. - Mobil Oil Corp. won a $22.4 million, five-year contract to supply lubricants and engineering services to the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command.

This is the first time the Navy's supply support group has awarded a worldwide contract to one supplier for commercial brand lubricants.

Mobil will supply 13 different products, estimated to be in excess of 1 million gallons in the first year, to 110 ports. About 85 vessels ranging in

size from a 2,000-deadweight-ton oceangoing tugboat to a 40,000-dwt. oil tanker will be supplied.
