Target Logistics opens Milwaukee center

Target Logistic Services has opened a distribution and warehouse facility in Milwaukee.

The 27,000-square-foot center is located near Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee's primary air hub. Managing Director John Teraoka and general manager David Fortier lead a staff of 25.

Despite Milwaukee's reputation as "the beer capital of the world," the region has many different industries, ranging from the high-tech and computer businesses to traditional printing and building supply materials companies, Teraoka said. " These businesses require reliable, precise and safe delivery of cargo," he said.

The airport is served by many different combination carriers and all-cargo airlines with flights throughout the day and evening, he said.

"The region also has an excellent system of express highways for road feeder service to almost every point in the U.S.," Teraoka added.

The office was previously affiliated with Team Worldwide.
