Kirchner new CFO at Menlo

Eric Kirchner has been promoted to chief operating officer for Menlo Worldwide Forwarding. He reports to John Williford, and will be responsible for operations worldwide. He was previously executive vice president with responsibility for North America operations.

Other promotions included:

-- Randy Stanley was named vice president Americas. He will be responsible for operations in North America and South America.

-- Jerry Trimarco, senior vice president, transportation. He will be responsible for Menlo Worldwide Forwarding's international transportation and gateway organization in addition to its North America transportation and hub network.

-- Ronele McCurdy, vice president of human resources and labor relations for Menlo Worldwide Forwarding.

-- Vince Gallagher, vice president of sales for the Americas.

-- Jennifer Rosenfeld Pileggi, vice president, corporate counsel.

The promotions all entail expanded responsibilities for veteran executives. Kirchner's promotion stems in part from the retirement of Peter Quantrill, Menlo's vice president - international, which was announced internally earlier this week..

Williford said the changes will help Menlo run its forwarding business as "one global enterprise with a common approach to transportation and operations processes."
