Althen to Succeed Hartnett at Penske Logistics

Marc Althen will become president of Penske Logistics, succeeding Vincent Hartnett, who will retire in January after 38 years with the Penske organization.

Althen is senior vice president of administration and procurement at Penske Truck Leasing. In 22 years with Penske he has held executive posts in administration, procurement, facilities, real estate, vehicle remarketing, vehicle supply, energy and environmental services. Previously he held positions with Chevron and GE’s Gelco Truck Leasing.

Penske Logistics is a subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing, a Reading, Pa.-based joint venture of Penske Corporation, Penske Automotive Group and General Electric. Penske operates more than 200,000 vehicles through more than 1,000 locations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
