<div><p>Lufthansa Cargo on Wednesday posted its sixth consecutive quarterly loss, but Europe’s largest air cargo carrier sounded a cautiously optimistic note for the final three months of the year.</p><p>That optimism is not contained to Lufthansa after global air cargo volume <a>rose 5 percent in September</a>, according to market data from WorldACD. That growth was the strongest year-over-year monthly performance in two years and October is expected to be even better, WorldACD said.</p><p>Lufthansa Cargo managed to narrow its third-quarter operating loss to 17 million euros ($18.9 million) from 22 million euros a year earlier, swelling losses for the first nine months...
