US importers are scrambling to keep northbound freight from Mexico moving as temporary business visitor visa revocations cut deep into Mexico’s supply of cross-border truck drivers.
The ability to customize port calls and aggressively manage capacity is translating into higher rates for MSC, while the Gemini Cooperation’s rates are below the market average despite its higher schedule reliability, according to rate benchmarking platform Xeneta.
