The crane, which arrived in Gulfport last week, was the first Chinese STS crane imported into the US since the Trump administration slapped tariffs on Beijing in April.
The public and private funding will go predominantly towards cutting shipping emissions, developing alternative fuel technology and rolling out shore-side power at UK ports.
