Ocean carriers are increasingly using Indian west coast terminals to relay Middle East-bound cargo originating in the US, Europe and Africa, thus extending the regional shift beyond Asia-Persian Gulf trades.

FMC questions Cosco on non-payment of reparations to ag shipper

The agency says the ocean carrier will be subject to fines of up to $25,000 a day if it has determined that the late payment to an Oregon-based shipper is “willful and knowing.”

Breakbulk fleet growth to accelerate, but capacity remains constrained
