Baltimore is looking for more international shippers to use its intermodal service to Chicago by next year thanks to terminal improvements and financial incentives.
From Oct. 22, the customs agency will no longer allow casual or incomplete paperwork for international mail that could result in shipments being delayed, rejected or sent back.
J.B. Hunt is handling record intermodal volume and is paying more for drayage drivers before it can seek higher contract rates from customers.
