Turkish Cargo Expands Freighter, Trucking Services

Turkish Cargo will launch freighter services to Entebbe, Uganda, and Kigali, Rwanda, effective June 3, and one weekly flight to Karachi, Pakistan, and Singapore, starting June 5.

It will also boost its weekly operation to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to two weekly flights, as of June 8.

In the past few months, the division of Turkish Airlines also launched freighter services to Kuwait, started accepting cargo on passenger flights to and from the Lviv, Ukraine, airport and set up new destinations in Africa, including Khartoum, Sudan; Johannesburg; and Nairobi, Kenya.

Furthermore, Turkish Cargo is establishing a trucking network around Lagos, Nigeria, with five new delivery points, including Abuja, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Owerri and Kano. It is also expanding its truck distribution network in the U.S. and Mexico.
