Experienced Logistics Leader Bill Miller Joins Transplace to Advance Automotive Vertical Growth
July 29, 2014 (Dallas, TX) – Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management services and logistics technology solutions, today announced the appointment of Bill Miller as vice president, automotive. The addition of Miller further supports the company’s continued investment in acquiring top talent to drive business growth.
With extensive supply chain and logistics experience, Miller brings to Transplace substantial industry-specific knowledge in P&L responsibility, customer relationship management and implementation of leading-edge supply chain operations. Previously, Miller was senior vice president, operations, for Transfreight. He has also served as vice president and general manager, supply chain management for Schneider Logistics, Inc., where he was responsible for customer development and management across automotive, manufacturing, retail and chemical markets.
