SEATTLE – Sept. 23, 2009 – (Marine NewsWire) Technicold by Northern Lights is pleased to announce its expansion to a larger facility.

In late 2009, Technicold will move into an expanded, better-equipped location in the greater Fort Lauderdale, Fla. area. Technicold’s steady growth and current market positioning require more space for manufacturing of industry-best air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical load management products. The new facility will house Technicold’s corporate headquarters as well as on-site sales, engineering and manufacturing operations.

“We are excited to announce that increased market opportunities have put us in a position to relocate our Technicold operations to a larger facility that will better enable us to produce the highest quality marine systems in the marketplace today,” stated Colin Puckett, Northern Lights sales & marketing manager. “This signals to us that the market recognizes the value of the Technicold product line being backed by the expertise and reputation of Northern Lights and is looking for better solutions for their air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical load management needs.”

Technicold offers a comprehensive line of chilled water air conditioning systems, from 24,000 to 180,000 BTU. Technicold also manufactures chilled water air handlers, direct expansion systems, sea water refrigeration systems and automatic load banks, exclusively for the marine market. Custom solutions are easily handled through experienced engineering technicians. Technicold is owned and supported by Northern Lights, and backed by a burgeoning dealer network.
