Maher Terminals Honored by Evergreen As Its "Marine Terminal of the Year 2012"

ELIZABETH, NJ (June 5, 2013) -- Maher Terminals, LLC, one of the largest multi-user container terminal operators in North America, has been recognized by Evergreen Shipping Agency (America) Corporation (EGA) as 2012 Marine Terminal of the Year. EGA serves as North America agent for Evergreen Line, the fourth largest containership company in the world.

Evergreen noted that the carrier places great emphasis on providing quality service with a goal to satisfy customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations and keeping them competitive in global trade. "This philosophy is one of the keys to our success and we depend on our vendors to play a significant role in helping us achieve this goal," said Roy Amalfitano, EGA President.

Evergreen Line containerships have been calling at New York Harbor since the commencement of its all-water cellular service in 1975 and at Maher's facility since 1978. The carrier has three weekly services at Maher.
