Guangzhou Port Group/Port of Nansha North America announces Rod Ragoner as vice president of sales and marketing

June 11, 2018 – Port of Nansha is pleased to announce the addition of Rod Wagoner, a well-known figure in the international transportation industry with over 30 years of expertise in all aspects of global logistics. He has held several management and executive positions working for a major global ocean carrier in Seattle, Portland and most recently in Los Angeles. In the ocean transportation business segment, he has developed long term partnerships with key accounts and has always been driven to meet or exceed customer expectations. As the Port of Nansha continues to set new records on growth and market share, Rod’s winning attitude and experience will help ensure this trend continues.

Rod will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to retain, expand and secure international container business opportunities targeting importers, exporters, Ocean Carriers, and other logistics service providers for the Western Region of North America and Canada. He will report to the John Painter, President/CEO, in New Jersey.
