Pilot Freight Services Unveils First New Logo in Company History

JOC Staff |
LIMA, Pa.-April 15, 2010-Pilot Freight Services, a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, unveiled a new company logo at its recent national meeting, as part of a greater rebranding effort. The company has been using the same logo since it opened for business 40 years ago. In 2007, the company changed its name from Pilot Air Freight to Pilot Freight Services, to reflect the rising list of services offered.

As Pilot has grown, we've gone from being a leading freight forwarder, to a provider of a much wider range of transportation and logistics services, said Richard G. Phillips, CEO of Pilot Freight Services. After 40 successful years, we wanted to refresh our look, and make sure that our logo and branding conveys who we are as a company today. We believe that this logo reflects the energy and forward motion that drives our business every day.

As part of this rebranding initiative, Pilot will be making over all internal and external communications, including the company Web site, advertising and collateral materials. These changes will be phased in over the course of several months.
