Phoenix International Expands Global Office Network
Wood Dale, Illinois – July 23, 2010 - Phoenix International Freight Services, Ltd. opened two offices last month; one in Papeete, Tahiti and the other in Milan, Italy.
“Tahitian companies primarily import from markets where Phoenix has strong coverage (USA/Asia/France), so it made good sense for us to establish a Phoenix office here,” said Laurent Ferrucci. “Ferrucci and Manutea Leboucher, Phoenix Tahiti’s managing partner team based in Papeete, are passionate about being part of the Phoenix family. Their acute senses for customer service and strong work ethics will quickly set them apart from the competition,” explains Phoenix’s president & CEO, Stephane Rambaud. Phoenix International Tahiti is already providing regular air and ocean groupage services to Tahitian importers from France, the USA and China.
To better serve the diverse needs of its expanding global network of offices, Phoenix established a joint venture with its agent in Italy, Cesped. “Being aligned with Cesped enables us to better serve our large portfolio of clients within Italy immediately, and ensures our superior standards of service to, from and within Italy are extended to companies around the world via our global network,” said Rambaud. The new venture, Phoenix Cesped SRL, is led by managing director Igor Braga. Phoenix Cesped’s customers continue to reap the benefits of the company’s established air and ocean consolidation services.
