Panalpina receives 2009 CHEP International Carrier of the Year Award

CHEP, the global leader in pallet and container pooling services presented Panalpina with its “2009 CHEP International Carrier of the Year” award during CHEP’s two-day 2009 Carrier Symposium at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida. More than 125 transportation professionals from companies across the U.S. attended the October event that included seminars and the gala awards banquet.

Lucas Kuehner, Area Managing Director Panalpina USA, says, “We are honored to receive this award from our valuable ocean freight customer and take pride in being recognized for our outstanding dedication, service and performance”.

CHEP’s International Carrier of the Year Award recognizes excellent on-time delivery, cost and customer service globally. Panalpina was selected the winner for providing innovative supply chain solutions that led to significant supply chain cost savings and efficiencies for CHEP globally.

According to CHEP’s Global Logistics Manager, David Croft, “Panalpina’s customer service was of the highest standard over the past year, making sure that CHEP’s cargo was always a priority and delivered on time”.
