Panalpina handles Samsung ocean freight and warehousing

Samsung Panama has selected Panalpina to handle most of their FCL (full container load) ocean freight traffic from Asia-Pacific to Panama in 2010. Samsung estimates to handle 1’500 to 2’000 TEU’s with Panalpina this year.

In addition, Samsung has awarded Panalpina a three-year extension contract for their warehouse operation in the Colon free trade zone with approximately 8’000 sqm.

Samsung also contracts Panalpina to handle direct deliveries from their factories in Asia and North America (including Mexico) to Central and South America.
