New Officers Take Charge at the Transportation Lawyers Association

The Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA), an independent international organization of attorneys, serving the transportation industry since 1937, elected new officers on April 30 at its annual meeting at the La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Assuming the presidency is Gordon D. McAuley of The Pasha Group in Corte Madera, California. Other new officers are president-elect Sam Hallman of Strasburger & Price, LLP in Dallas, Texas; first vice president Patrick K. McMonigle of Dysart, Taylor, Lay, Cotter & McMonigle, PC in Kansas City, Mo.; second vice president M. Gordon Hearn of Fernandes Hearn LLP in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Dirk Beckwith of Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, of Farmington Hills, Mich., secretary/treasurer; and immediate past president Eric L. Zalud of Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, of Cleveland, Ohio. TLA attorneys located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe represent both providers and users of transportation and logistics services from all modes of the transportation industry, including air, rail, truck and maritime companies.
