JOC Staff |
July, 22 2009 Washington D.C. The MCAA is pleased to announce it has entered into an Affinity Partner Agreement with Courierboard.com, the Online Delivery Network, which includes a special discount program for all MCAA members who register for Courierboard’s Premium Account for courier companies.

MCAA members can now save when using Courierboard’s “Find A Driver” system that allows members to have access to a one-of-a-kind searchable database of over 8,700 ICs actively promoting their business with Driver Available Ads and online profiles. Companies can search for IC drivers, find their ad, and copy it to document the driver was advertising as an Independent Contractor. The online profile provides information to help companies accurately and quickly identify drivers that meet their driving contract requirements: vehicle type, make, model, mileage, insurance, driving record, and references.

Courierboard’s “Find A Driver” platform gives the independent contractor a venue to advertise his services and get additional 1099’s from other courier companies fulfilling two very important IRS requirements for a driver to be truly independent.

President Michael Gualtieri stated that “MCAA endorses Courierboard’s “Find A Driver” program and we encourage all our members to investigate this new member benefit as a new proactive resource for courier companies using Independent Contractor drivers.

As part of this Affinity Agreement, MCAA members who register with Courierboard using affiliation code “MCAA15” will receive a 15% discount off Courierboard’s premium account fee. MCAA members who are already registered with Courierboard can also receive this new MCAA membership benefit by contacting Courierboard and requesting the MCAA15 discount be applied to their account.
