Econocaribe Consolidators Appoints Joan Puig as Puerto Rico Terminal Manager

March 16, 2014 San Juan: Econocaribe Consolidators announced role enhancements for some of its management team members globally. Mr. Joan Puig has been appointed as Puerto Rico Terminal Manager.

As part of the world’s largest LCL consolidator ECU-LINE, Econocaribe has recently undertaken management promotions across its teams, in line to its vision to become the number one organisation globally. Econocaribe and ECU-LINE belong to the multinational Avvashya Group with presence across 90 countries and 200 owned offices globally.

Mr. Puig started his career with Econocaribe 3.5 years ago as Puerto Rico Sales Manager. Over the years, he has had great success turning around its sales efforts for the Puerto Rico market, making it one of our most successful U.S. Terminals. He was also awarded ‘Sales Person of the Year’ in 2011, for his outstanding performance.

Commenting on the occasion Mr. Enrique Coello Human Resources Director said:

‘Joan will be taking charge of his new role with immediate effect and will be overseeing the efforts of 10 operational staff and four sales representatives. We are confident that as our new Puerto Rico Terminal Manager and through his proactive leadership, this terminal will see higher growth and excellent performance.
