Logistics Leaders Forum Prepares Automotive Logistics Sector for the Return of Vehicle Production Volumes
Challenges for supply chain sustainability, from the start of the product cycle until finished vehicle delivery, are slated for discussion.
Southfield, Mich., March 30, 2010 — AIAG and autoMOTIVE Logistics Leaders Magazine will host a panel driven forum to discuss the new challenges in the aftermath of the financial crisis and what it will take to manage the recovery for the automotive logistics sector.
Even with the variety of challenges currently facing the industry, OEMs and their supply chain are placing logistics at the top of their priority lists. The global supply chain is demanding more accurate forecasting; longer-lead visibility and more stable requirements to ensure capacity and logistics are aligned with vehicle production schedules.
