Robert Voltmann, Transportation Intermediaries Association's President & CEO will be speaking at the 3PL Value Creation 2013 Seminar in Chicago on November 6 discussing "Global Supply Chain Management Overview".

Alexandria, VA October 28, 2013 Robert Voltmann, Transportation Intermediaries Association's (TIA) President & CEO will be speaking at the 3PL Value Creation 2013 Seminar in Chicago on November 6 discussing "Global Supply Chain Management Overview". The event will be held at the University Center - Conference Chicago, 525 S State St., Chicago, IL.

Mr. Voltmann, along with other leading North American 3PL Executives, will explore today’s winning value creation strategies. Global economic forces, paradigm changes and transformation in industry sectors will set the stage for third-party logistics competition in 2014 and beyond. While the future offers up plenty of uncertainty, one thing remains clear: top executives at 3PLs will need to lead their organizations to become innovators and value creators for their customers if they hope to survive and thrive in the marketplace.

Prior to that, Mr. Voltmann was appointed by President George Bush to serve as Chief of Staff to Interstate Commerce Commissioner Ed Emmett.
