Dubai Exports Renews Partnership with BDP

Dubai, Philadelphia, Singapore, November 4, 2013 – BDP International (BDP) today announced that its partnership agreement with Dubai Exports has been renewed for another 12 months.

BDP, along with a handful of other select logistics companies, was approved by Dubai Exports to provide world class, value added services and capabilities to exporters in Dubai. The move confirms BDP's position as one of the premier logistics companies operating in the Gulf Region.

Dubai Exports is the export promotion agency of the Dubai Government's Department of Economic Development. The partnership with BDP is part of Dubai Export's strategy to boost exports and re-exports by improving the services offered to exporters.

One of the largest privately held logistics companies in the world, BDP is a recognized as having the industry's best logistics technology platform, as well as a team of highly specialized compliance experts.

BDP's global network spans over 270 cities in nearly 140 countries, offering 4,000 customers services such as transportation management, warehousing, distribution, freight forwarding, project logistics and customs clearance.

Virendra Sehgal, BDP's managing director for the Gulf and Middle East, welcomed the renewal of the partnership.

“Our partnership with Dubai Exports ensures exporters in the Gulf region have access to BDP’s world-class technology and expertise to help them manage their supply chains,” he said. “BDP in the Middle East has grown its customer base significantly since it opened its office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia in January 2010.
