Graybar Sponsors Chicago Energy Summit

ST. LOUIS — Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical and communications products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, has announced its sponsorship of a free Energy Summit on Thursday, May 16, in Oak Brook, Ill. Illinois utility company ComEd will discuss its Smart Ideas for your Business® incentive program that helps businesses achieve savings from reduced electric energy costs.

The program will include valuable information on how businesses and organizations of all sizes can tap into ComEd’s available cash incentives to become more energy efficient and how facilities can receive free energy studies. Attendees will learn about available savings for new buildings or build outs, best practices for using controls to save energy and new areas for hospitals to find energy savings. Furthermore, ComEd will offer attendees a special sneak peek into new incentives for Program Year Six.

“The Energy Summit will inform our customers how they can reduce energy-related operating expenses while potentially receiving cash incentives,” said Ryan Thompson, Graybar National Market Manager.

The Chicagoland event is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Chicago Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort at 3500 Midwest Road in Oak Brook, Ill. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., and Graybar and ComEd will present information from 8-11 a.m. Engineers will be available to answer questions immediately following.
