Change in the Management at Dachser

ATLANTA (July 1, 2013) -- Effective July 1, 2013, Burkhard Eling, 42, will be taking over the Finance, Legal, and Tax (FLT) Department at worldwide logistics provider Dachser. He succeeds Professor Dr. Dieter Truxius, who will remain a member of the company's management until he retires at the end of the year.

Since June 1, 2012, Mr. Eling, has served as deputy head of the Finance, Legal, and Tax Department at logistics provider Dachser. Eling, who is an industrial engineer, has acquired broad-based expertise in the financial sector of various companies.

Prior to joining Dachser, he was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at HSG Zander International (currently Bilfinger HSG Facility Management), a facility management provider, and at Centennial Contractors Enterprises, a U.S. provider of construction services. Both companies are part of the Bilfinger Group.

"At Dachser my responsibilities will include further development of the financial systems with a concentration on value-driven controlling in order to adapt them to the increasing requirements of this sustainably growing family-owned company," says Mr. Eling, describing the focus of his future responsibilities.

Professor Dr. Dieter Truxius, who is 60, has held his position since January 1, 2008. He is considered to be one of the most prominent German financial experts for family-owned companies. He is also aco-founder and board member of the Association for Participation in the Development of AccountingRegulations for Family-Owned Entities (VMEBF) and a lecturer in the field of controlling at the University of Mannheim.
