A. Duie Pyle Warehousing and Transportation Earns Compass Minerals "Service Excellence Award"
WEST CHESTER, PA, May 11, 2010 - A. Duie Pyle, a leading Northeast transportation and logistics provider, was the recipient of Compass Minerals 2009-2010 Service Excellence Award. The award was presented to Peter Latta, chairman and owner of A. Duie Pyle, during an awards banquet on April 28, 2010 at the corporate office of Compass Minerals.
With the winter weather variability of our ice control products, Pyle's flexibility and integration have become an instrumental part of our Northeast distribution strategy, said Bob Ledford, director for strategic logistics and sourcing at Compass Minerals. Pyle ensures a reliable one-stop shop for integrated transportation and distribution services.
