- DHL Express resumes standard intra-European air operations
- Intercontinental services back to normal since Tuesday night
- Re-establishment of standard express services within next days

Bonn, April 21, 2009 - DHL will resume most of its close to 100 regular intra-European express flights today and run regular night operations at its Leipzig Hub in Germany, following the re-opening of German air space.

Intercontinental air operations to Asia, the US and Middle East/Africa have been gradually stepped up during the weekend, including those of AeroLogic and DHL Air UK, and are now back to normal.

In those areas that are still affected by the closure of airspace DHL will continue to serve customers through an alternative and decentralized road-based network. Customers will thus receive their shipments at the earliest possible point in time.

Should air space continue to be open, DHL Express will be able to also offer its standard express services within the next days.
