Dgx Offering New Weekly Container Service to Brazil
RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, APRIL 13: DGX-Dependable Global Express, through its Latin America Trades division, announces a new weekly container service to Brazil offering rapid transit time at fully competitive market rates.
The 40 foot container leaves from Miami, traditional gateway to Latin America, on a fixed weekly schedule. Cargo consigned from all regions of the U.S. is consolidated at the ResourceS Warehouse, one of the largest and most secure facilities of its kind in the Miami area. Unloading of cargo is at the Brazilian port of Santos, where the 40' container or box is supervised by PlusCargo, a major handling agency with offices throughout Brazil.
In announcing the new service, Mathew Silver, Director of Latin America Trades, commented, Brazil is the economic giant among Latin American nations with one of the fastest growing economies on the globe. Its import needs are almost unlimited; ranging from heavy energy equipment to a wide group of consumer goods. There is substantial need for freight companies with experience in the Latin American trade to serve this fast growing market.
The Latin America Trades division also expects to start air freight service to Brazil within a short time through the company's DAX-Dependable AirCargo division.
Silver noted that at present, DGX service is outbound from the U.S., but we expect to handle import traffic in the near future. He said that initial interest in the service is so strong, we may have to double our frequency later this year.

They particularly have specialized in the less served west coast region of South America including the nations of Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia, in addition to Central America.
