Milan, Italy, 26 April 2010 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has signed three contracts with Procter & Gamble (P&G), the leading multinational in the sector of research, production and sale of consumer goods, detergents, cosmetics, fragrances and pharmaceutical products. CEVA will handle complete warehouse activities for P&G’s home care products.

With these awards, P&G is expanding its partnership with CEVA, which began in 2005, giving responsibility to the logistics operator for the processing of its products from three warehouses near its Italian factories. CEVA will continue to process the finished products and co-packing activities for the customer at the Pomezia warehouse near Rome.

Moreover, two new contracts also give CEVA the responsibility for processing the home care products in two other P&G warehouses: Campochiaro, in the province of Campobasso, and the Gattatico center in the province of Reggio Emilia. CEVA will manage a total of 27,000 sq m of warehousing space.

Gianfranco Sgro, President for CEVA in Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “We are proud that P&G has chosen to expand its partnership with CEVA. Thanks to our rich experience in the international consumer goods sector, we are able to handle this type of produce using innovative, reliable solutions which more than meet the specific demands of this multinational customer. The decision to entrust us with the warehouse activities for the home care products in all of the company’s Italian plants is a mark of recognition of the excellent service we have provided P&G during the past five years.”
