Atlas Air Successfully Transports New Lifesaving Mine Resistant Vehicles Direct to our Troops in Theater

Atlas leverages its premiere 747-400 freighter asset to be the first and only provider capable of transporting the new Mine Resistant All Terrain Vehicles (M-ATVs) nonstop from Charleston, SC to Bagram, Afghanistan

PURCHASE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW) (Nasdaq: AAWW - News), a leading provider of global air cargo assets and outsourced aircraft operating services, announced today that its Atlas Air, Inc. operating unit has successfully completed 11 nonstop missions from Charleston Air Force Base in Charleston, South Carolina to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, delivering 55 of these new M-ATV vehicles manufactured by Oshkosh Corporation.
