AIT appoints Kim Smigiel Director of Marketing and Communications

The global transportation and logistics provider has appointed Kim Smigiel to Director of Marketing and Communications.

Most recently serving as the Supervisor of Marketing and Media/Corporate Administration, Smigiel became a part of the AIT family in 1994.

In her new role, Smigiel will continue placing a strong emphasis on identifying vertical market audiences, building brand recognition and increasing global expansion across all facets of marketing and communication: advertising, media relations, special events, community involvement, editorial coverage and web design.

Smigiel graduated from Elmhurst College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. In 2005, she earned her Masters of Science degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications from Roosevelt University.

AIT names Jay Walick Director of International Operations

Jay Walick has been appointed to Director of International Operations for AIT Worldwide Logistics.

Walick began his AIT career in 2006 as the International Manager for the Eastern Region before taking on his most recent position as the Corporate Ocean Business Development Manager.

In his new role, Walick will work in support of AIT’s global business development initiatives.

AIT appoints Nikola Drasinover Director of International Pricing and Route Development – Middle East Region

Nikola Drasinover has been appointed to Director of International Airfreight Pricing & Route Development – Middle East Region for AIT Worldwide Logistics.

With more than thirty years of international business experience, Drasinover most currently served as the station manager for AIT’s Pittsburgh location.
