Experts from the corporate and recruiting sectors will provide insight and guidance into completing a successful job search journey. Resume preparation, marketing/branding yourself, social networking, interviewing and a view from corporate HR/Talent Acquisition.
Cost will be $20 which will cover coffee and lunch.

Reduced parking is available at IDT Corporate Parking Garage, 20-32 Atlantic Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102. Please note the instructions: attendees will need to visit the parking office BEFORE they head over to the Rutgers building to pay and validate their special rate pass ($7).

Directions from the NYC Area to the Event
To 1 Washington Park by train, from NYC or other parts of NJ
For NJ Transit Train Schedule: http://www.njtransit.com
For PATH train information to Newark: http://www.panynj.gov/path/
Take the PATH or NJ Transit train to Newark-Penn Station. (From New York, most of
the NJ Transit trains stop at Newark-Penn Station. Some stop at Paramus first, and then
Newark.)
From Newark-Penn Station, take the Newark Light Rail. It is new, nice, small,
and clean. Buy tickets from the automatic vending machines--just enter downtown fare
for the ticket to Rutgers and DO NOT forget to get your Light Rail ticket validated by
getting it punched in the validation machines adjacent to the vending booths. The fine for
not validating is $125. (Please note: If you are traveling on the Light Rail during certain
high peak hours, you MUST purchase the one-way ticket for $1.35 instead of the
downtown fare. See ticket vending machines for restrictions. )
-- Board the Light Rail and get off at the Riverfront Stadium stop. Then cross Broad
Street and head for the tall brick-colored Rutgers Business School building
directly opposite you. Impossible to miss.
-- For the return trip, bear right as you exit the main entrance and head for the park
and within a 5-minute walk, you get to Washington Park station, and take the
Light Rail back to Newark-Penn Station and home. Do not forget to validate your
ticket!
