Schneider National Terminal Hit by Tornado

A Schneider National truck terminal is among the properties damaged by one of at least two tornadoes that ripped through the Dallas area Tuesday afternoon.

Images showing smashed and overturned Schneider trailers and damaged tractors and cars were published by several local news outlets in the twister’s wake.

The loss of equipment at the terminal was “massive,” according to The Post-Crescent newspaper. No injuries were immediately reported.

Tornado warnings have been canceled in Dallas and Fort Worth, though a tornado watch is in place for 33 counties in north-central Texas until 8 p.m.

Flights heading to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport have been delayed up to three hours, according to USA Today. Flights at the airport were grounded.
