Help Inc., a nonprofit specializing in transportation safety, recently elected two trucking association executives to leadership positions.
Don Schaefer, executive vice president of the Mid-West Truckers Association, was elected vice chairman, effective August 2013.
John D. Esparza, president and CEO of the Texas Motor Transportation Association, was elected to serve as a member at large on Help’s executive committee.
Schaefer and Esparza will bolster understanding of the industry among Help’s volunteer leadership, said Jim Poe, Help’s chairman.
