Averitt Express added 73,150-square-feet of warehouse space in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas, as it joins other less-than-truckload carriers in expanding distribution capacity.
The Cookeville, Tenn-based company added 45,500-square-feet in Marietta, Ga.; 3,150-squre-feet in Greenville, N.C.; and 25,000-square-feet in McAllen, Texas. The latter, near border city Pharr, provides truckloading, consolidation and distribution, along with LTL and truckload transportation between U.S. and Mexico, Averitt said.
