Florida East Coast Railway has appointed Melissa “Missy” Westerman vice president and corporate controller, starting April 2.
Westerman has more than 16 years of experience in corporate accounting and has served at CSX for more than 11 years in various roles, including assistant vice president of capital planning and enterprise risk management, as well as assistant controller. Prior to joining CSX, she spent several years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen as a senior auditor.
She graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting. She is also a certified public accountant.
