Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has signed a contract with Container Corporation of India to supply three Kalmar E-One2 rubber-tire gantry cranes to that company’s Tuglakabad terminal in New Delhi.
The cranes are scheduled for delivery in the last quarter of 2013. The order was booked to Cargotec’s 2012 fourth-quarter order intake.
“Kalmar's fully electrical RTGs, combined with local support, convinced Concor to choose Kalmar as a supplier,” said Jonne Hankimaa, managing director of Cargotec India.
Concor has more than 62 inland container deports and container freight stations in India.
