The Montreal Port Authority has named Donald E. Finnerty as director, growth and development, USA, effective Nov. 1, 2012. He succeeds Sheldon Scott, who has retired after three years as the Port of Montreal’s representative in the U.S.
Finnerty has more than 24 years of experience in the international transportation industry, mostly in the ocean carrier, 3PL and NVOCC markets. In 2010, he set up Knight Global Solutions Inc., an international freight consultancy specializing in ocean freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, warehousing and distribution.
