NYK Americas Rotates Top Managers

NYK Group Americas on Wednesday announced a rotation of its top managers that will take effect on April 1.

NYK Americas’ current President and CEO Tony Nozaki will be returning to Japan as executive vice president of Kinkai Yusen Logistics. He will be succeeded as president and CEO of NYK Group Americas by Yasuyuki Usui.

Peter Keller, executive vice president and chief operating officer of NYK Line (Americas), will retire and become a senior advisor to the Board of NGA.

Yoshio Watanabe will return to Japan as general manager of the Harbor-Overseas Group.

Patrick Burgoyne will become president & CEO of Yusen Terminals.

Group Financial Executive Naoya Miyasaka will return to Japan. Succeeding him in that position will be Kazuhiro Kamoi, who will also serve as president of NYK International (USA) and be appointed to the Board of NGA.

Tetso Ishii will also return to Japan. He will be succeeded as President of Nippon Business Systems by Michio Ito, who will also be appointed to the Board of NGA.

Tom Gately, senior vice president of administration and NGA’s human resources officer, will be appointed to NGA’s board of directors.
