German carrier Hapag-Lloyd has postponed its general rate increase for dry shipments from Canada and the U.S. to East Asia, the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East.
The rate hike, which was set to take effect on Jan. 15 and had already been postponed until Feb. 15, will now be postponed until March 1.
The increase will be $160 per 20-foot container and $200 per 40-foot container.
