Cosco Container Lines and Sinotrans CSC will cooperate on China-Japan services, a likely result of Beijing’s pressure on Chinese carriers to work together amid the shipping slump, SinoShip News reports.
The two shipping lines will jointly operate routes from north and east China to Japan, starting in late February. The move comes after rivals Cosco and China Shipping said in October that they will cooperate on domestic Chinese services.
